Digital identity for products
Area: UI/UX & Digital Identity · Usual shape: applying an existing identity digitally · What it is not: creating a corporate identity
Plenty of brands look excellent on a presentation slide and fall apart on screen: colours that cannot be read, a logo that disappears at icon size, a dark mode nobody thought about. This work carries an identity onto digital products so that it holds — on measured values rather than an impression.

What this solves
- The identity was designed for print and is being used on screen.
- The logo is unreadable at app-icon size.
- There is no dark mode, or one produced by inverting the light one.
- Several digital surfaces have drifted apart.
What we build
- A digital colour system with contrast measured per use, not per swatch.
- A type system for Arabic and Latin, with its scales.
- A consistent icon language.
- Logo handling at small sizes, and the app icon.
- Store and social assets in the sizes actually required.
- Light and dark both fully designed.
- Written usage rules aimed at the team who will apply them.
- A review and correction of what is currently published.
Where it is used
- An identity designed for print being used on screen.
- A logo unreadable as an app icon.
- A product with no dark mode, or one derived mechanically.
- Several digital surfaces that have drifted apart.
What this does not include
- This is design work. It is not legal work.
- We do not register trademarks and we do not file any application on your behalf.
- We do not perform trademark clearance or availability searches.
- We do not give intellectual-property or any other legal advice — for that you need a qualified lawyer.
- No full corporate identity creation, naming or brand strategy.
- No print, packaging, signage or advertising creative.
How the work goes
- We start from what you already have and where it is currently failing.
- We fix the measurable problems first — contrast, legibility, icon behaviour.
- We design light and dark as two deliberate designs rather than one and its inverse.
- We hand over rules the team can apply without asking us each time.

Questions about this service
Do you design a new logo?
Not under this service. This applies an existing identity to digital products. Creating a corporate identity — naming, strategy, print — is different work and outside what we offer.
Can you register our trademark, or check whether a name is free?
No. Trademark registration, clearance searches and intellectual-property advice are legal services, and we are not lawyers. We will happily work alongside yours, but that boundary is firm.
What if we have no identity at all?
Then this is not the right starting point, and we will tell you so rather than improvising one. You need brand creation first, which we do not offer.
Does it include dark mode?
Yes, designed rather than derived. A dark mode produced by inverting a light palette is usually the first thing that looks wrong on a real screen.
How do you handle Arabic within an identity?
As a design problem in its own right. Arabic sets differently, needs different vertical rhythm, and rarely works with a face chosen purely for the Latin side.
