Questions about this service

Do you host our sites?

No. We are not a hosting provider. We select and configure hosting with an established provider, in an account that belongs to you, and we set up the deployment path into it.

Who pays for the hosting?

You do, directly to the provider, on an account in your name. That keeps ownership and billing with you and means you are never locked to us by your infrastructure.

Do you guarantee the site stays up?

No. We do not offer uptime guarantees, service-level agreements or round-the-clock operations. We set the environment up properly and can arrange monitoring, but a standing availability commitment is not something we offer.

What if we want to move to another provider?

You can. Nothing is built to be portable in theory and locked in practice, and the deployment path is documented so another team could move it.

How do we know the backups work?

Because we restore one as part of the work. A backup that has never been restored is an assumption, and it is the assumption that fails at the worst moment.
