Continuous development
Area: Maintenance, Support & Continuous Development · Usual shape: agreed development rounds · The driver: what real use reveals
A product that does not move forward falls behind the work it was built for, because the work itself changes. Continuous development is a rhythm instead of one big project every two years: a prioritised list, short rounds, and measurement after each one that decides what deserves the next — because a feature list is ordered by what use revealed, not by enthusiasm.

What this solves
- A launched product has a "later" list nobody has touched.
- The business process changed after launch and the software did not.
- Progress arrives as one large project every two years, or not at all.
- The user base grew and its needs moved.
What we build
- One prioritised backlog, visible to both sides.
- Prioritisation by impact rather than by who asked most recently.
- Design and build in visible stages.
- Review on working screens rather than on a description.
- Clear release notes for your team.
- Measurement of what shipped, after it shipped.
- Replanning on what that measurement showed.
- Coordination with the maintenance arrangement running alongside it.
Where it is used
- A product launched with a "later" list nobody touched.
- A business procedure that changed after launch.
- An organisation that wants steady progress rather than intermittent big projects.
- A product whose user base is growing and whose needs are shifting.
What this does not include
- It is not a dedicated team assigned exclusively to you.
- We do not publish a fixed monthly capacity as a general commitment.
- It is not staff placement or outsourcing.
- We do not undertake to deliver a named feature on a named date before its scope exists.
How the work goes
- We keep one backlog, and it is visible to you rather than reported at you.
- We prioritise on impact, and say so when the loudest request is not the most valuable one.
- We ship in rounds small enough to be measured.
- We let the measurement decide the next round rather than a plan written a year ago.

Questions about this service
How is this different from maintenance?
Maintenance keeps what exists working — updates, faults, monitoring. This adds what does not exist yet. They are usually bought together, and we do not pretend they are alternatives.
Who decides the priorities?
You do, with our recommendation and our reasoning. We will tell you when the most-requested item is not the most valuable one, but the decision is yours.
Can it be paused and resumed?
Yes. Budgets and business cycles are real. Pausing is a normal arrangement rather than the end of one.
How is the result of each round measured?
Against what it was supposed to change, agreed before the round rather than after. A feature nobody measured is a feature nobody can defend keeping.
Do you work on a product someone else built?
After a technical audit, yes. We need to know what we are taking on before committing to develop it further.
Tell us what is still on the "later" list.
